Lance Corporal Richard Foldenauer was born on September 24th 1920 in Altheim, Saulgau county. He was the divisions only enlisted Knights Cross receipient.
He received the Knights Cross on November 12th 1943 for bravery after throwing back a Soviet attack near Teploje saving his entire regiment.
He is missing in action since end of 1944.
